Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. I wish you a wonderful day tomorrow.
After a big week I am looking forward to taking some time to heal. I had my second surgery on my head last Friday and unfortunately, it was bigger than expected and I received 28 stitches (10 internal and 17 external). I am praying that the lovely surgeon (a different one) was able to get it all this time.
A couple of days later I travelled back to Port Macquarie to spend time with family before my beautiful Mother-in-Law Norma’s funeral as sadly, she lost her battle with cancer. Then yesterday I was back in Brisbane getting my stitches out. Thank you to everyone that enquired about my health, I appreciate your care and best wishes.
In previous emails, I have covered a few benefits of practising to boost your psychic abilities. Another benefit is that it helps you develop discernment to be able to differentiate between genuine intuitive messages and ordinary thoughts.
If you want to boost your psychic abilities, here are six ways to develop discernment through practice.
1. Daily Reflection: Take time each day to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and intuitive impressions. Analysing these can help you distinguish between genuine insights and everyday thoughts.
2. Mindful Observation: Practice observing situations and people without judgment. Pay attention to your intuitive responses and later compare them with the actual outcomes. This helps you identify when your intuition is accurate.
3. Test Your Intuition: Regularly test your intuitive feelings in low-stakes situations, such as guessing outcomes or making decisions based on a hunch. Track the accuracy to refine your discernment over time.
4. Seek Validation: Practice seeking external validation or signs that confirm your intuitive impressions. This can help you learn to trust your intuition when it aligns with reality.
5. Meditation for Clarity:You can meditate for many reasons, but try meditating with the intention of gaining clarity. This can help you to quieten mental noise, making it easier to discern genuine intuitive messages from random thoughts.
6. Journaling: Keep a journal to document your intuitive experiences. Over time, review your entries to identify patterns and accuracy.
This practice helps hone your discernment by highlighting what consistently works for you.
Through consistent practice, these methods will help you sharpen your ability to discern true intuitive guidance from ordinary thoughts or distractions.
On this side of the globe, it is the last day of winter today, and tomorrow we start the spring season. The season of new growth, spring cleaning (hmm, let’s not think about that one for now), and warmer days to come.
At this time of my life, Spring is my favourite season, and I love being able to put away the winter woollies; it is so good to travel lighter, too.
