Only one month until Christmas. This year is flying by for me.

This year, my hubby and I decided to split the Christmas shopping. He would shop and choose the gifts for the boys, and I would do the same for the girls. My job is done! I am feeling happy about this, as I suggested after I had already got the girls their gifts and was stumped as to what to get the boys. My hubby is happy too, as he doesn’t mind shopping.

On my last visit to Brisbane, I took my granddaughter Sophia to see Santa.

Sophia is now 2.5 years old and loves Santa. She was so keen to see him that she was more than happy to get her photo taken with him.

I have so much fun with Sophia, and her favourite thing to do at the moment is play with her doctor’s kit and pretend that she is a doctor. Of course, we all have to be “patients” for her to practice on.

How did you go with the challenge/exercise I set for you last week?

Remember how I suggested you take a deeper look at the ‘New Home, Home Improvement’ card in ‘The Modern Oracle’ deck, so that you could discover some of the secrets within the image and obtain a better understanding of the card.

Here we go, below are some interpretations of the aspects I asked you to discover.

The ladder – about climbing the ladder, a promotion, moving up, success
The ladder’s shadow – someone or something in the shadows, a supportive person, not showing your true self, notice the shadow is slanted – feeling unsure.
The number 8 – this also can be the ‘infinity’ sign but is about the meanings of the number 8 in numerology, the power number.

The worn boards without paint – feeling insecure, unprotected, hard times, preparing for change.
The dead bare trees – something has died, hard times, threadbare, no protection, fragile, brittle.
What is behind the window – what did you see? Take a closer look for other options.
The faded roof tiles – something mature, something needing sprucing up or improving.
The windows don’t match – Look for other options, something needs balancing, take a closer look at something, look for the bigger picture.
One window is slightly open – an opportunity, open to possibility.

Your answers will be determined by the question asked. i.e. If you are asked about whether the person you are in a relationship with is the right one for you, and this card comes up, then it would suggest that you are comfortable with them, or that the relationship is an improvement.

That is an example of just two answers that of course would also depend on you intuition for the interpretation.
