Birthday Month is HERE – find out how we’re celebrating!

Amazingly, against all odds, Chloe and Sam were married last Saturday.

For weeks we were ready to cancel the wedding as the Omicron virus surged ahead and guests were canceling due to catching COVID.

All that aside, they had a beautiful wedding. The speeches were funny, the food was good and the happy couple looked very glamorous.

Yes, it did rain and Chloe was a ‘trooper’ as the photographer put it, she did not complain at all that a lot of the outdoor photos were in the rain.

It was a totally fun day, and it was if time just flew by. Check out the photos on Facebook and Instagram.

I have been asked a few times now if Mercury in Retrograde affected the wedding and I have to say… YES it did. I will list only a few ways (there were many more)…

• The hairdresser and the photographer got COVID, and substitutes had to be found
• Guests kept cancelling due to COVID and then letting us know literally days before that they would now be attending
• The honeymoon flight was delayed by 4 hours
• There was a delay in picking up the wedding cake the day before the wedding as the lady making the cake had an accident and her mother had to finish it
• The hotel where the wedding was, sold the Bride and Groom’s room and couldn’t find them another one until 2am (the wedding finished at 11.30 pm)
• Communication issue – the groom and groomsmen’s flowers were forgotten and left in the fridge.
• The phone live streaming the wedding turned itself off and then later ran out of battery.

While Chloe and Sam are on their honeymoon we are house and dog sitting our grand doggies, two gorgeous little chihuahua’s that have big personalities.

I woke up this morning to find Zeus sitting on my chest willing me to open my eyes.

Crystals in your Modern Oracle Box

The Modern Oracle deck and Modern Oracle of Essential Oil decks are housed in a lovely sturdy, protective magnetic flap box to keep your cards safe.

I like to keep small flat heart-shaped crystals in the bottom of the box to cleanse and re-energize the deck while it is in the box.

First, I take out the little guidebook to allow room for the crystal. I also ensure that the crystal is smooth and flat, so it doesn’t damage the cards.
