I hope all the ‘Mothers’ out there enjoy their special day tomorrow on ‘Mother’s Day’. A day when we honour our mothers and let them know that they are appreciated.

Did you know that the symbolic flower for Mother’s Day in Australia is the Chrysanthemum? Which is kind of cool because the word ends in ‘the mum’.
This month we are focussing on symbology, which can be another way of communication and another way the spirit world can communicate with you.
Within the Modern Oracle decks, there is a lot of symbology that can bring your readings to another level. You can get more out of the decks by noticing the secrets hidden within each card.
For instance, when we look at the ‘Lemongrass’ card in the Modern Oracle of Essential Oils deck you will see that one stick of lemongrass was not tied up with the rest.
This would suggest when you read the image the following:
- that something or a situation is incomplete
- something or someone has been left out
- that there are more solutions to seek out
- there is still another opportunity to be found
- that someone is not included or part of the pack
- going solo and staying separate.
Of course, which version of the above you use would depend on the question.
Lemongrass also suggest purification, clarity, focus, clear open communication, and spiritual resilience.
Grandbaby Update…
I was fortunate to spend last week with my family in Brisbane and enjoy time with my beautiful granddaughter, Sophia, who is now 7 weeks old, well-loved, and looking gorgeous.
But now the very challenging ‘colic’ has set in. Every evening like clockwork, the relentless crying starts for a few hours, and sweet little Sophia becomes a tyrant.
On the positive side, I am getting fitter as I pace the floor, trying to help settle her.
Last weekend, while I was in Brisbane, I was able to have a lunch meeting with my best friend Marilla, who is coming with me to Adelaide to help me with my stand.
We spent time planning our upcoming trip to be at the Body Mind Psychic Expo.
I’ll be there both days doing psychic readings and will have my Modern Oracle products for sale too!
