Find the 3-Card spread that best suits you!

Have you ever had one of those weeks where everything seems to be going wrong?

That was my week last week.

It started with a trip to the emergency when my hubby accidentally mangled the top of his finger in the mulcher. There was so much blood we really didn’t know how bad the damage was. He now has a heap of stitches and he was very lucky that the bone was not damaged.

Now I don’t want to depress you, so I won’t burden you with the rest of the dramas and I am much happier that Mercury finally came out of the post shadow period … hallelujah!

Whenever I am next to my hubby and his phone starts doing weird things like shutting down, typing random letters and numbers instead of what he is actually typing, even changing to other apps like it is possessed, he looks at me and says “Seriously, is Mercury in Retrograde again?”

Then upon my confirmations, he blurts out “Get away from me or even better go to the other side of the room so I can finish this email.” Followed by him cussing about how it seems like Mercury is always in retrograde.

This week was the last week of my ‘Everything Modern Oracle’ development classes, and when teaching students, one of the common questions I am asked is about card spreads and why I use a three-card spread the most.

Then I am questioned about which three-card spread is my go-to and how to know which spread to use.

I tend to favour the ‘three card moving forward’ spread. I find it answers my questions quickly and lets me know what to expect.

Most people favour the past, present and future three-card spread but I only use that when I need more information as to how they got to this point in time, and it is a good spread to demonstrate that the ‘Modern Oracle’ deck is tuned in to the issue.

Three card spreads are good for quick answers and there are so many ‘ways’ to do them.
