Our little Yorkshire Terrier, Kiki, is now 19 weeks old, and this week she had surgery to repair a hernia.

While I was worried about the surgery, I also kept in mind that with Mercury in Retrograde, it was definitely the right time to ‘repair’ the hernia, and in fact, it was now urgent. The vet explained that although she was born with the hernia, she was also lucky to have survived this long!

With that statement in mind, the surgery day couldn’t come around quickly enough.

It took time, but now Ted (our 9-year-old chihuahua) adores Kiki, and even though she is a handful, he has become protective of her. They do a lot of puppy wrestling, something we are trying to stop now that she has stitches.
