Get ready for the yellow month!

So far this month, I have found my plans constantly changing due to the COVID lockdowns and other situations beyond my control.

I had plans to be in Brisbane for appointments and they all had to be postponed. Even the Brisbane Mind Body Spirit Festival, which I love attending, was postponed.

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and so I am trying to just go with the flow as I reschedule what I can in these everchanging times.

Last month was a sad month for me with the sudden passing of my dear mother. But there was also some joy with the scheduled release of my son John Keenan’s new song ‘Tired Eyes’.

A new month and a new colour!

Many people underestimate the power of colour. Colour has energy and each colour vibrates at a different frequency. This is why certain colours will appeal to you and others may repel you. You will find that you love the colours that you are most in sync with. with. Each colour also has its own special significance. My favourite colour is blue … if you haven’t already guessed.

Each month I have been writing about the colour assigned to the upcoming month and presenting you with a bit of a forecast. I hope you enjoy my colour forecasts.

THIS MONTH OF JULY IS A YELLOW MONTH

• The colour of clarity, information, and digestion
• Yellow is an uplifting, bright, and cheerful colour
• Yellow is the colour of fun, so bring your inner child out and be creative
• Yellow is about learning, so a good month to start a new course or take on new studies
• A good colour for launching a new idea or project, and putting plans into action
• A good month to people network
• An analytical colour so be careful not to overwhelm yourself with too much information or spend too much time in your head or be over critical as it will be easy to become overwhelmed.

If you become overwhelmed, counterbalance it with the colour violet or purple. You might like to wear some amethyst.

Yellow is not a colour I wear a lot of, but recently I found a linen shirt in just the right shade of yellow that I can wear without looking washed out. I have noticed that I do feel more cheerful when I wear my yellow shirt and my focus seems to improve. There you go, yellow works for me!
