“I have a lot of decks … what is so different about your decks?”

If you recall, last weekend I was at the Sunshine Coast for the Conscious Life Holistic Wellness Festival working on my stand, doing readings all day for two days and I loved it!

This was my first time working at a festival since before COVID and I was left wanting to work at more expos and festivals. I love the energy, the atmosphere, the people and to be able to bring healing to as many as I can in such a short period of time.

While I was on a break, a lady came up to my stand, looked at my Modern Oracle decks, and said

“I have a lot of decks and I don’t use them, what is so different about your decks?”

Hmmm… challenge accepted!

I then proceeded to go through my normal spiel about how there is nothing out there like ‘The Modern Oracle’ and how a lot of psychic readers are switching over to ‘The Modern Oracle’ decks to use as a tool to read with.

It was my demonstration that astounded her though.

I demonstrated the deck answering two random questions that I wanted answers to and each time relevant cards were drawn, and the answers were really clear. Yet, this lady still had a doubt. She could not comprehend how they could be so accurate and thought I was making the answers fit.

Even though I gave her the background on what I was asking she was still skeptical.

“The answers are clear because you are making it happen,” she stated.

“I’m not, you can have a go and see how they work for you if you like. I think you will be
surprised,” I challenged.

She asked her question in her head and looked up at me with amazement as she layout the
cards.

“How did you go?” I questioned.

“I can’t believe this” she stated as she looked at the cards she drew. “It must be a fluke.”

“Why is that?” I enquired.

“Well I asked about buying a house and here is the house card” she answered.

She quickly started shuffling again and asked another question in her head only to be surprised with the result again. She was there for a while and then she looked up at me and said

“I don’t need to book a reading with you, as all my questions have been answered by the cards. I can’t believe how accurate these cards are.”

I told her that I developed The Modern Oracle cards as a tool, for everyone to be able to use to read for themselves and others. It can be hard to be objective when reading for ourselves and others that we are too close to or know too much about. The cards make the process so much easier.

The next day I received a message from that lady stating she had found it hard to put the cards down and had since successfully read for her whole family.

I was so pleased as it looked like my deck would not end up in the cupboard with all her unused decks that she had collected.

I have spent a decade creating the two ‘Modern Oracle’ decks and receiving positive feedback allows me to know that it was worth it and that others love these decks as I do.

Now for an update on my battle with Mercury in Retrograde (MIR).

On the first day of the shadow period, my car would not connect to my iPhone, and it took me nearly an hour to get it set up.

This meant that I was late setting off on my trip (another side effect of MIR). I persevered as I wanted to listen to an audiobook while travelling to the festival. I had decided to try wearing moldavite to protect me from the effects of MIR, but it did not seem to be working.

Once I switched over to my Vesuvianite ring the car connected to the phone, even though I was doing all the same actions prior to enable the connection. While away I had to get my friend Marilla to use the tv remote when it wouldn’t work for me, and my iPad won’t allow me to use emoji’s when on Facebook.

If there is anyone reading this newsletter that has had success with preventing or minimising the side effects of the Mercury in the retrograde period, I would be interested to hear about them and I will share them in my next newsletter and give them a try too.

Finally, a few days ago I had eye surgery, and this has slowed me down from answering you
