I remember as a child I was encouraged to write a letter to Santa with my ‘wish’ list for what he could bring to me for Christmas. Back then it was suggested that you only ask for a few things and that if you were good, you might receive one of the things on the list.

Now I know the rules of manifesting and with programming like that I can see why a lot of people have trouble manifesting what they desire.

I took my granddaughter Sophia to the letter writing room at Carindale shopping centre and encouraged her to write a letter to Santa.

At 2.5 years of age there was no writing, just scribble but she loved doing it and posted many ‘letters’ to Santa.

I would encourage you to be like Sophia and not restrict yourself. Manifest your desires and dreams.

This week we are taking a deeper look at the ‘Obstacles, Disruption, Challenges, Delays ‘card in ‘The Modern Oracle’ deck.

With the image on this particular card, I wanted it to portray a feeling of everything grinding to a halt, going slower, even a trapped feeling.

With Mercury in Retrograde, it is very appropriate to take a closer look at this card, as I call it my Mercury in Retrograde card. It depicts things that can happen when Mercury gets up to its tricks.

As you look at the image, I want you to see if you can see some of the secrets within the card. I will list some below, and then I want you to find them and write on a piece of paper what they mean to you if they are what you are noticing when you gaze at the card.

Then, in next week’s newslette,r I will give you the interpretations that I have that you can consider and take into your subconscious mind for when you are using the cards to do a reading.

Here we go, can you find the following within the image?

Notice the colour of the cars (or lack of)
What is the predominant colour of the cars?
Notice how close the cars are together
Notice that the writing is in RED
It’s a timing card, and notice the particular season

Remember when you are writing the answers, that they can apply to any of the areas of life that the reading is about i.e. Career, investments, relationships, health etc…
