Learn more about ‘negative’ oracle cards

I recently had a client at an expo mention that negative cards in her reading upset her to the extent that she feared using Oracle cards. Now there are a lot of things to fear in the world, but Oracle cards would not be on my list. So, I thought I would share with you my beliefs about negative cards in case you are one of those people that live in fear of choosing a negative card.

Think of negative cards as showing up to help you. As a wake-up call, a warning, a message that says it how it is.

A negative card can reflect on the current situation you are in or advise you that the path you are on could lead to a negative situation.

Isn’t it better to be forewarned? I think so. I mean, nobody has a totally, positive life with nothing negative happening at all. Negative cards are a reflection of what is possible and therefore necessary. I always say, “Don’t ask unless you really want to know”, because the Modern Oracle deck can be blunt and direct but it does offer clarity.

Negative cards can be a sign of the following:

• You don’t have the whole story and there is something you are not seeing
• The time is not right for what you are planning
• Get back on track unless you want to be derailed
• There is something getting in your way of what you want, or they are letting you
  know that now is not the right time.
