Only 2 more sleeps until Christmas Day!

I am beyond excited as my family will arrive today to spend Christmas with us. It will be Baby Sophia’s first Christmas, and today she is 9 months old.

This year, our family is playing ‘Dirty Santa’ for a bit of fun, and I hope it will become a family favourite, an annual tradition. If you haven’t heard about this game, you might want to google it. We are all excited and looking forward to seeing how it plays out.

One of our family traditions is for everyone at our table to take a turn to say what they are grateful for and the highlight of their year. We also like to have fun with Karaoke, and with two professional musicians in the family, we get to enjoy their talents.

We have a treasured family tablecloth that we only write on at Christmas, and anyone at our table is invited to sign the tablecloth. It is fun to read all the messages from past years and appreciate the memories it inspires. This tablecloth is like a time capsule.
